The Praetorian Defense award system exists to recognize members who have demonstrated exceptional lethality, leadership, and dedication to the unit’s growth. These citations are not merely cosmetic; they are a permanent record of a contractor's impact on our unit history.

Award recommendations must be submitted by a Team Leader or higher, and include a description of the actions justifying the award's approval. All awards are reviewed and approved by members of Praetorian's HQ Staff.

PDS Founder Ribbon

Awarded to the founding members of Praetorian Defense.

Senior Aviation Badge with UH-60 Supplemental

Awarded to the current, senior member of the PDS Aviation Detachment. Designates that holder is also qualified to fly unit UH-60s. (Note: Only 1 set of "Wings" is authorized for wear at a given time, with this set taking precedence over the standard Senior Aviation Badge.)

Aviation Badge with UH-60 Supplemental

Awarded to members who have successfully qualified as a pilot within Praetorian Defense Solutions. Designates that holder is also qualified to fly unit UH-60s. (Note: Only 1 set of "Wings" is authorized for wear at a given time, with this set taking precedence over the standard Aviation Badge.)

Aviation BadgeAwarded to members who have successfully qualified as a pilot within Praetorian Defense Solutions. (Note: Only 1 set of "Wings" is authorized for wear at a given time, with this set taking precedence over Drone Operator Badge.)
Drone Operator BadgeAwarded to members who successfully completed both UAV and UGV training and certification. (Note: Training and certification are currently limited to Company/Platoon Command and Operations Team Members. Additionally, only 1 set of "Wings" is authorized for wear at a given time, with the Aviation Badges taking precedence.)
Medic BadgeAwarded to members who successfully completed Medic Qualification Testing, and who currently serve in a dedicated Medical position (Team CLS or Platoon Medic). This badge supersedes Medical Qualification badge.
Medical Qualification Badge

Awarded to members who successfully completed Medic Qualification Testing.

Engineer BadgeAwarded to members who successfully completed Engineer Qualification Testing.
EOD BadgeAwarded to members who successfully completed EOD Qualification Testing.
Operations Badge

Awarded to members of PDS Operations for the creation, storyboarding and management of PDS Campaign Operations.

Praetorian MedalAwarded to members that distinguish themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to Praetorian Defense in a position of great responsibility.
Legionnaire MedalAwarded to members that distinguish themselves by superior meritorious service to Praetorian Defense in a position of significant responsibility.
Pale LaurelAwarded to members that have been credited with 50 or more deaths while employed by Praetorian Defense.
PDS Meritorious Service AwardAwarded to members that distinguish themselves outside of combat operations, for the betterment of the unit.
PDS Commendation MedalAwarded to members who have gone significantly above and beyond the call of duty, either in op or out of op.
PDS Achievement MedalAwarded to members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, either in op or out of op.
Canary DownpourAwarded to members of Praetorian who, by means of baffling decisions, questionable judgment, or outright stupidity, somehow stumbled into success. The Canary Downpour honors those victories won not by brilliance, but by luck so strong it borders on divine comedy.
